CEO Boyer Selected for Top Honors at Pennsylvania State University.
On April 20, 2007, K. David Boyer, CEO GlobalWatch Technologies, was chosen as Pennsylvania State University’s 2007 Outstanding Alumni Council Member. This honor recognizes Mr. Boyer’s tireless service to the Alumni Council in several capacities.
A graduate of PSU, Mr. Boyer was elected to the Alumni Council in 2001 and again in 2004. During his tenure, he served on the Diversity Committee and became the first chair of the Awards Committee. Under his tutelage, the Council’s Awards Committee was greatly expanded, re-energized, and improved. The main accomplishment of his Committee was the creation of the Alumni Achievement Award to recognize those outstanding alumni 35 and under. He now assumes a two-year appointment to the position of president of the Society of Distinguished Alumni for the Pennsylvania State University.
The Penn State Alumni Association was started in 1870 and it has grown to a powerful network of more than 159,000 members. It is the largest due-paying alumni association in the country. The Association works to connect alumni to the University and each other as well as providing valuable services to its members and support to the University’s goals and missions.

CEO Boyer Elected to the CEO's Board of Directors
K. David Boyer, GlobalWatch CEO, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Chief Executive Organization (CEO). The CEO, founded in 1958, represents 2000 global leaders who have distinguished themselves and demonstrated outstanding leadership ability within their businesses or industries, governments or local communities. The membership for the organization is by invitation only and provides opportunities for international networking, educational and enrichment experiences. The governing Board of Directors, composed of no more than 41 individuals, is elected from its membership. The Board is responsible for the management of the organization as well as the planning and administration of seminars, university and colleges and special interest groups. Mr. Boyer serves on the Events and Education Committee for the Board and is the Chairman for the Washington DC seminar to be held in October 2007.

CEO Boyer Active in National Legal Center for Public Interest.
GlobalWatch Tech CEO Boyer continues his active involvement in the National Legal Center for the Public Interest in Washington, D.C. Presently serving on its Board of Directors, Mr. Boyer was tapped by Fred F. Fielding, Chairman of the Center and newly appointed White House Counsel, to provide additional services and support on the Board’s Education Committee. Created in 1975, the Center, a nonpartisan public interest law and educational foundation, is committed to fostering knowledge about law and the administration of justice. Through educational publications and educational forums, the Center provides the public and private sectors timely information on key legal, legislative, regulatory, and economic issues of national importance.

GlobalWatch CEO K. David Boyer is reappointed to the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Treasury Board. First appointed by the then-Governor Mark Warner, Mr. Boyer has been reappointed to another four-year term by Governor Tim Kaine.
Virginia ’s Treasury Board supervises all the investments of state funds as well as the financing of State buildings and approves the terms, issuing and sales of certain bonds. The Treasury Board oversees and advises the business activities of Virginia’s Department of the Treasury. By statute, the members appointed by the Governor must have a background and experience in financial management and investments.
“Governor Kaine’s confidence in me is certainly an honor and it is a privilege to be able to serve the Commonwealth,” says Mr. Boyer.
Already active in the banking community, Mr. Boyer serves on the Board of Directors, BB&T Bank, Washington Metro Region , one of the top financial holding companies in the country. In his local community, Mr. Boyer sits on the Board of Trustees for WETA, the largest Washington area public television and radio broadcasting network. Recognized in 2000 as a Distinguished Alumni by his alma mater, Mr. Boyer is a member of the Executive Council for the Pennsylvania State University Alumni Council. On the international level, Mr. Boyer is an Advisory Council Member of the Global Strategy Institute for the Center of Strategic and International Studies and a Member of the Chief Executive Organization.
